Serena Williams blijft op de sukkel met haar rechtervoet. De Amerikaanse ligt opnieuw in het gips en kwam op krukken naar de American football-wedstrijd tussen de Miami Dolphins en Chicago Bears kijken.
Ze blesseerde zich begin juli aan haar voet nadat ze in een restaurant in een glas had getrapt. Williams speelde nog wel in The Best of Belgium tegen Clijsters, maar is sindsdien out.
