Manchester City kan morgen/dinsdag in het Champions League-treffen met Barcelona geen beroep doen op Sergio Agüero. De Argentijnse topspits heeft nog te veel last van de hamstringblessure die hij eind januari op het veld van Tottenham (1-5 winst) opliep.
Manuel Pellegrini, coach van The Citizens, bevestigde maandag op zijn persbabbel dat Agüero niet in de selectie. Het is voorlopig nog koffiedik kijken wanneer de international weer fit voor de dienst zal zijn.
Het Manchester City van aanvoerder Vincent Kompany speelt eerst thuis tegen Barcelona in de achtste finales van de Champions League. Volgende maand is de return in Camp Nou.
