Aston Villa-aanvaller Christian Benteke (ex-Genk) breekt alle records. Liefst 70 procent van de gekochte Villa-shirts draagt de naam Benteke achterop. "Ongelooflijk, ik ben erg trots", zegt de aanvaller. "Het betekent veel voor me dat ik zo populair ben bij de fans."
Ook de shirts van Thomas Vermaelen (Arsenal), Marouane Fellaini (Everton) en Romelu Lukaku (West Bromwich Albion) gaan als zoete broodjes over de toonbank. Het Chelsea van Eden Hazard gaf geen cijfers vrij.
