Snowboarder Seppe Smits is zondag in Londen tweede geworden in de eerste wereldbeker Big Air van het seizoen. De 20-jarige Antwerpenaar moest in de Britse hoofdstad, in de schaduw van het
Battersea Power Station, alleen de Fin Janne Korpi laten voorgaan.
De Nederlander Joris Ouwerkerk bezette de derde podiumplaats. Bjorn Simons werd 53e en laatste.
