Standard Luik ontmoet in de kwartfinales van de Europa League Hamburg, de ploeg die in de vorige ronde landskampioen Anderlecht uitschakelde. De Rouges moeten eerst, op 1 april, naar Duitsland.
De terugmatch in Luik staat op 8 april op het programma. Standard is aan een vlot scorend Europees parcours bezig en dat zal het nodige vertrouwen geven wanneer de Luikse furie naar Hamburg zal afzakken. Als Standard de halve finales haalt, speelt het tegen de winnaar van het duel Fulham - Wolfsburg.
In de overige kwartfinales neemt Valencia het op tegen Atlético Madrid en moet Benfica Lissabon aan de bak bij Liverpool.
In het Zwitserse Nyon werd ook geloot voor de halve finales van het tornooi.
- Hamburg/Standard Luik - Fulham/Wolfsburg
- Valencia/Atlético Madrid - Benfica Lissabon/Liverpool
De halve finales worden gespeeld op 22 en 29 april. De finale vindt op 12 mei plaats in Hamburg.
