Standard Luik heeft zich vrijdag met de Congolese international Jean-Marc Makusu Mundele versterkt. De 21-jarige spits wordt tot het einde van het seizoen van Bel 'Or Kinshasa gehuurd. Daarna heeft Standard een aankoopoptie.
De Rouches zien in Makusu Mundele "de nieuwe Dieumerci Mbokani" en ook in eigen land werd hij al met de ex-speler van Anderlecht en Standard vergeleken. Bel 'Or is de club waar ook Mbokani doorbrak.
