Tanghe was in de voorbije seizoenen actief bij Roeselare, dat vanaf nu in tweede klasse aan de bak moet. De dertiger blijft wel adviseur op Schiervelde.
Tanghe speelde ook ooit bij Moeskroen, Utrecht en Heracles. Negen keer mocht hij opdraven bij de Rode Duivels.
