Kim Gevaert mag dan nog haar laatste wedstrijd hebben gelopen, wij gunnen haar graag nog één mooie prestatie. Het Amerikaanse webmagazine Askmen.com organiseert een online verkiezing voor Olympic Babes en daarin neemt onze eigen Kim Gevaert het op tegen hoogspringster Amy Acuff en poolstokspringster Yelena Isinbayeva.
De redactie van Askmen geeft Kim 67% voor het onderdeel natural beauty, 80% voor fame en liefst 90% voor physique factor – dat zal dan wel zoiets zijn als de X-factor, zeker?
Askmen geeft het volgende als commentaar bij de nominatie van snelle Kim: "This Belgian native is one of the fastest women on the track, but we sometimes wish she'd slow down just a bit so could see those fabulous legs in motion more clearly."
Daar hebben wij verder niets aan toe te voegen.
