STVV-voorzitter Roland Duchâtelet zou volgens Sudpresse Standard Luik overkopen. Luciano D'Onofrio, de huidige directeur van de vicekampioen, verlaat de club en dus is Standard op zoek naar een overnemer. Die zou volgens de Waalse krant La Meuse dus uit Sint-Truiden komen.
