Anderlecht plukte Taylor tijdens de wintermercato weg bij eersteprovincialer Montegnée. Paars-wit wilde het talent eerst nog enkele maanden laten rijpen bij de Zebra's.
Een speler mag echter niet twee keer van club wisselen in dezelfde transferperiode. Eerst stemde de bond in, maar moest later terugkomen op die beslissing.
Paul Taylor, ex-Manchester City, mag vanaf 1 februari voor Charleroi voetballen.
