Richie Porte (26) rijdt vanaf volgend jaar voor Team Sky. De Australische renner komt over van Saxo Bank.
"Ik kende twee fantastische seizoenen bij Saxo Bank maar nu kijk ik uit naar het volgende hoofdstuk in mijn carrière", aldus Porte, dit jaar winnaar van de tijdrit in de Ronde van Denemarken.
Porte reed vorig jaar nog drie dagen in de roze trui tijdens de Giro.
