Omega Pharma - Quick-Step sloot de Ronde van San Luis (Arg) succesvol af: Tom Boonen won de slotrit en Levi Leipheimer kaapte de eindzege weg. Boonen boekte in San Luis zijn eerste zege van het seizoen.
Boonen hield in een massaspurt Guardini en Richeze achter zich.
Leipheimer zag zijn eindzege in het slotweekend niet meer in het gedrang komen. Hij had in de eindstand 46 seconden voorsprong op Alberto Contador.
Zaterdag won Elia Viviani (Liquigas) rit zes, Boonen werd toen vijfde in de sprint.
