"Hij kan nu al dagelijks trainen en werkt in Monaco oefenritjes van twee uur af zonder pijn of irritatie. Ik kreeg hem dinsdag aan de lijn en hij klonk tevreden. Wij hopen alvast dat hij nog de Franco Belge (start 30 september) en Parijs- Tours kan rijden. Kan hij vroeger beginnen, dan is dat pure bonus."
