Eerder lokte Twente rechtsachter Rosales van AA Gent. Volgens Het Laatste Nieuws heeft de Nederlandse club nu zijn zinnen gezet op Bart Buysse. Essevee wilde zijn contract openbreken, maar die contractverlenging komt nu mogelijk in het gedrang.
"Tegen Nederlandse voorwaarden kunnen we niet op", aldus manager Mannaert. De West-Vlaamse club zou naar eigen zeggen wel over een alternatief beschikken.
