De 27-jarige spits lag nog een jaar onder contract bij het Nederlandse FC Utrecht, maar mag toch vertrekken. "Zowel voor FC Utrecht als voor Vandenbergh zelf is dit een goede oplossing", klinkt het bij de club.
Vandenbergh was eerder al actief bij Westerlo, Racing Genk en Germinal Beerschot.
