Quick Step heeft een vijfde ploegleider aangetrokken. De 36-jarige Italiaan Marco Velo maakt volgend seizoen deel uit van de technische staf van het Belgische team.
Velo reed de voorbije twee seizoenen reeds in dienst van het team van Lefevere. Velo krijgt zijn landgenoot Bramati naast zich als collega, evenals de Belgen Peeters, Van Slycke en Steels.
