De schorsing voor Ljubijankic komt er nadat hij Brecht Capon zwaar tackelde tijdens de match AA Gent-KV Kortrijk. De aanvaller heeft laten weten dat hij in beroep gaat.
Zware straf
De straf die de voetbalbond Ljubijankic oplegt is zwaarder dan verwacht. De bondsprocureur had immers gevraagd schorsing van twee wedstrijden en een boete.
