Baseggio wil nu snel weer voetballen. Door de schrapping van Excelsior Moeskroen zit hij echter zonder club. Tweedeklasser Tubeke en provincialer Rebecq hebben hem al benaderd om bij hen het seizoen uit te doen.
De gewezen Rode Duivel hoopt echter weer in de eerste klasse te kunnen spelen. Een buitenlands avontuur sluit de oud-vedette van Anderlecht niet uit.
