De 20-jarige tennisster kreeg vrijdag tijdens haar wedstrijd in het enkelspel tegen de Italiaanse Sara Errani (WTA-46) last aan de rug en wil zich nu sparen voor haar achtste finale tegen Justine Henin.
Wickmayer en de Française Virginie Razzano zouden het zaterdag tegen de Russin Elena Vesnina en de Chinese Jie Zheng opnemen.
