Yanina Wickmayer (WTA-19) werd dinsdag in de eerste ronde van het WTA-toernooi in het Canadese Toronto meteen uitgeschakeld.
Onze 21-jarige landgenote verloor in de eerste ronde met 6-4 en 6-2 van de Italiaanse Roberta Vinci (WTA-22).
Wickmayer mist zo een duel met de Deense Caroline Wozniacki, de nummer een van de wereld.
