Maar tijdens de loodzware rit op woensdag sukkelde de Belg al met zijn maag en darmen.
"Ik vind het jammer dat ik de remmen dicht moet knijpen, want de rit van vandaag lag me wel", stelde Weylandt, die donderdagavond naar België terugkeert.
