De minister van Binnenlandse Zaken Malusi Gigaba heeft dinsdag bekendgemaakt dat tickethouders gratis een visum kunnen aanvragen voor Zuid-Afrika. Het reisdocument kost normaal 42 euro.
Met deze maatregel moet de kaartverkoop stijgen want de teller staat nog maar op 200.000 bezoekers terwijl Zuid-Afrika 450.000 buitenlanders verwacht voor het WK.
