In een interview met Duitse media maakte het hoofd van ontwikkeling bij BMW, Herbert Diess, bekend 22 nieuwe modellen te zullen lanceren voor het einde van 2014. Tien daarvan zullen gloednieuw zijn, waarmee we bedoelen dat ze de eerste in hun soort zullen zijn.
