Niet dat de zes-in-lijn met 306 pk uit de 335i (F30) tam klinkt en rijdt, maar Akrapovic vond toch dat het beter kon. Niet enkel het geluid wordt beter van het uitlaatsysteem, ook de motor krijgt er zo'n 7 pk en 11 Nm koppel bij.
