De SLS AMG heeft objectief weinig te maken met de iconische supercar uit 1952. De 300 SL "Gullwing" wordt algemeen aanvaard als de eerste is een lange rij supercars. De nieuwe SLS zal natuurlijk nooit zo'n status bereiken. Desondanks hebben ze bij AMG met de SLS geen half werk afgeleverd , maar geef mij toch maar die zilvere.
