Bij ons gaat de GT-R al 2 jaar mee. In die tijd heeft hij op vlak van prestaties een ijzersterke reputatie gekregen, maar het kan dus nog beter. De launch control problemen zouden tot het verleden horen en met de herwerkte launch control sprint de Nissan in amper 2,9 seconden naar 60 Mph(ong. 97km/u). Hij is dan ook de 3de snelste wagen die Motortrend tot nu toe heeft gemeten. Op nummer één staat de Bugatti Veyron en de 2de stek is voor de aartsrivaal Porsche Turbo.
