In een interview met BMW's Global Sales Chief op de autoshow van Los Angeles blijkt dat de verkoop van de BMW i3 en i8 meer dan gewoon "goed" gaat. Het eerste productiejaar van de i8 is uitverkocht en voor de i3 kregen ze voor zijn launch al 10.000 orders.
