Het zijn de Japanse merken die grootschalige terugroepacties doen, ook BMW ontsnapt er niet aan. In de VS worden 570.000 auto's van de 1-reeks, 3-reeks en Z4 teruggeroepen. Ook bij de X5 zijn er problemen.
