BMW is druk bezig geweest de afgelopen maanden. Behalve de en de i3 zal het merk ook de X5 eDrive Concept voorstellen op de IAA in Frankfurt, al krijgt die niet hetzelfde gouden kleurtje. De eDrive is een denkpiste voor een hybride SUV, in een vergevorderd stadium.
