Uit onderzoek blijkt dat wanneer mensen geen parkeergelegenheid hebben in de binnenstad, dat ze dan sneller het openbaar vervoer zullen gebruiken. Die stelling is de basis voor het schrappen van tienduizenden parkeerplaatsen.
