Een week nadat Guinness World Records het wereldsnelheidsrecord voor productievoertuigen op land , werd het in ere hersteld. De snelheidsbegrenzer bleek geen issue te zijn. SSC moet dus een straffere auto maken, willen ze het reocrd overnemen.
