De 26-jarige Italiaan Antonio Cairoli (KTM) heeft zondag in het Engelse Matterley Basin de Grote Prijs van Groot-Brittannië, de dertiende manche in het wereldkampioenschap motorcross, gewonnen. De wereldkampioen en WK-leider won beide reeksen en en ging in de eindstand de Duitser Maximilian Nagl (KTM) en de Fransman Gautier Paulin (Kawasaki) voor.
Ken De Dycker (KTM) werd vierde, Clément Desalle (Suzuki) ondanks een polsblessure zesde en Kevin Strijbos (KTM) achtste.
In de WK-stand vergrootte Cairoli zijn voorsprong op Desalle tot 55 punten. De Fransman Christophe Pourcel is op 90 punten derde.
