In een interview met de Amerikaanse media bevestigd SRT CEO Ralph Gilles dat er geen automaat of V8 in de Viper komt. Het merk zou het grotere aanbod nochtans goed kunnen gebruiken om de verkopen wat aan te zwengelen.
