We hoorden al eerder dat de Toyota TS030 niet mee zou doen aan de Spa-Francorchamps Endurance. Niet getreurd, Audi koos eveneens Spa als testcircut voor zijn R18 E-Tron Quattro. De R18 E-Tron Quattro is net als de TS030 ene hybride. Audi gebruikt echter een 510 pk sterke 3.0 V6 diesel en gebruikt de vrijgekomen elektrische energie om af en toe een extra boost te geven. 16-17 juni komen de 2 tegen elkaar te staan in de 24h du Mans.
