Met de Open Automotive Alliance wilt Google het succes van de Open Handset Alliance evenaren. Deze alliantie heeft van Android een marktleider gemaakt in de mobiele wereld en het bedrijf uit Mountain View, Californië wil dat ook proberen met Android in de auto.
