In 2015 zal de legende terugkeren. Honda heeft bekendgemaakt dat ze na volgend seizoen zullen terugkeren naar de Formule 1 met oude partner McLaren. McLaren zal dus in 2015 hun contract met Mercedes stopzetten en terug in het bootje stappen met Honda.
