Honda heeft een vage teaser over de CR-Z gepubliceerd op hun [Japanse website](http://www.honda.co.jp/CR-Z/new/). De grote nieuwigheid is de veelbelovende 'S+' knop. Het is [algemeen bekend](http://www.autofans.be/rijtesten/nocat/6996-rijtest-honda-cr-z) dat de CR-Z zijn sportief uiterlijk niet kan waarmaken qua prestaties.
