Volgens The Korean Autoblog wordt de nieuwe Hyundai Santa Fe/ix45 uitgerust met een krachtige 2.2 CRDi dieselmotor. Het basisvermogen daarvan zou rond de 170 pk liggen, de topvariant zou 225 pk ter beschikking hebben. De wagen wordt voorgesteld in april, op de New York Motor Show. Of hij bij ons als ix45 dan wel als Santa Fe op de markt komt, laten we nog in het midden.
