Terwijl Honda bronnen aan het Britse Autosport magazine bevestigden dat Honda wilt terugkeren in de Formule 1 als motorbouwer deed McLaren CEO Whitmarsh heel vaag over de toekomst van het Formule 1 team met huidige leverancier Mercedes-Benz.
