Hoewel constructeurs massaal interesse tonen voor de in Duitsland, heeft Ford al een halveeeuw een vaste stek met de meest veeleisende wegen voor een wagen. Niet in Duitsland, niet in - thuisland - Amerika, wel in het pittoreske België. Lommel Proving Ground (LPG) is Fords privéhel voor elk model dat ze ooit hebben gemaakt of van plan zijn om te maken.
