Met het oog op 300.000 auto's per jaar in China bouwt Daimler een nieuwe fabriek in China. Het te investeren bedrag bedraagt 2 miljard euro. Mercedes hoopt daarmee haar capaciteit de verdubbelen het het geslagen gat met Audi en BMW te dichten.
