Lithium-ion batterijen vinden we tegenwoordig overal terug in hybrides zoals de Prius Plug-in of in full electric wagens zoals de Nissan Leaf. Tot nu wisten we niet hoe de lithium ionen zich gedroegen binnenin de batterij maar nieuw onderzoek zou hier verandering in brengen wat kleinere en betere batterijen zou opleveren.
