De GT-R ingenieurs bij Nissan zitten niet stil. Sinds zijn lancering in 2007 lijkt er wel elk jaar een aanpassing of facelift te komen. Zijn vermogen is zelfs al van 480 pk naar standaard 550 pk gestegen.
