Het doen er weinig McLaren na: een cool concept voorstellen op een autoshow en nadien een productversie lanceren die bijna identiek is. Deze P1 werd destijds in Parijs onthuld in zijn conceptvorm, in Genève komen we oog in oog te staan met de productversie. Geen oranje kleurtje dit keer, wel kanariegeel.
