De nieuwe A8 wordt nog dit jaar voorgesteld maar is één van de grote afwezigen op de autoshow van Frankfurt in september. Een wereldpremière op de autobeurs in Los Angeles in december is waarschijnlijker. Begin 2010 kan de verkoop dan beginnen.
