Dat Daimler en Renault-Nissan al een tijdje samenwerken is geen geheim. De nieuwste generatie A-klasse heeft een 1.5 diesel van Franse makelij onder de kap en ook de Citan is een omgekatte Renault Kangoo. Nu zou Mercedes voor de volgende generatie C-klasse ook een Renault-diesel overwegen.
