Volgens een artikel in De Zondag is het aantal old timers in vijf jaar tijd met zowat twintig procent gestegen, tot meer dan 180.000 stuks. Dat blijkt uit cijfers die Vlaams minister van Leefmilieu Joke Schauvliege opvroeg bij de DIV. De stijging van het aantal oldtimers zorgt ook voor een stijging van de CO2-uitstoot, volgens De Zondag.
