De cijfertellers zijn er klaar mee, Toyota was in 2013 de grootste autoconstructeur ter wereld. Dat is alweer het tweede jaar dat ze General Motors en Volkswagen voorafgaan. De telling van verkochte exemplaren is iets ingewikkelder dan enkel de verkochte exemplaren op te tellen.
