Vergeef ons de AMG's en Brabusen van deze wereld, deze Mercedes 500E is toch wel de grondlegger van de dikke limousines. Niet voor niets werd de 500E ontwikkeld in samenwerking met Porsche en zorgde die laatste ook voor de productie ervan, handgemaakt.
