Op de autoshow in Frankfurt in 1979 stond een wel heel aparte Porsche op de stand van Buchmann. De Duitse tuner stond destijds al bekend om het aanpassen van andere modellen maar een cabrio-conversie hadden ze nog niet toegepast.
